CV Cheerleading State Basketball Itinerary

Travel

Departing:  Wednesday at 10AM!
We will be riding a school bus to Tacoma, and taking the team charter bus home. 

You are fine to leave state with a parent, as long as we know ahead of time.  If you plan to leave with anyone that is NOT your parent, we need an alternate transportation form filled out with that person's name, signed by your parents.  These forms need to be in NO LATER than Wednesday AM!

Returning: TBA, Will leave Saturday if we are out late Friday or Early Saturday.  Otherwise it will be Sunday.

First Basketball Games

Girls Play at 9AM Thursday March 1^st vs. Eastlake

·         If we win, we play at 3:45PM March 2^nd

·         If we lose, we play at 9AM March 2^nd

Boys Play at 9PM Thursday March 1^st vs. Garfield

·         If we win, we play at 9PM March 2nd

·         If we lose, we play at 2PM March 2^nd

Basketball @ SFCC

Friday - Boys Bball vs. Richland @ SFCC! Game starts at 6:00, check in with Madison at 5:30. We completed alternate transoortation for these games, so driving yourself. groups 1,3 Cheering

Saturday - Girls BBall vs. chiawana @ SFCC! Game starts at 4:00, check in with Tara at 3:30. groups 2,4,5 cheering.

Practice this Week

Practice will be on Tuesday, February 21st from 3-5pm at Build It. Everyone should plan to cheer next weekend at SFCC for Basketball Regionals. More details to come soon.

State Wrestling Travel Plans

Cheerleaders: Kayla, Mackenzie S, Morgan, Natalie, McKenzie B, Shannon, Hayley, and Katy

Hotel: Best Western by the Tacoma Dome, 261 East E. Street, Tacoma, WA, (253) 272-7737

Departure Time: Thursday, Feb 16th 12:30pm from CV

Return Time: 6:30am Sunday, Feb 18th arriving in Spokane around Noon (Possible Saturday evening departure if we don't have wrestlers in finals)

Bring:

• Lunch to eat on bus Thursday (or eat before leaving)
• Pillows/Blankets for bus- We will be on a school bus, so bring anything that will help make it more comfortable :)
• ALL CV cheer uniforms- home basketball uniform, cheer closet wrestling uniform, all skorts/polos/t's, warm ups, bow, fleece- ALL of it
• Extra spending money- You will be given $5 for lunch each day and $7 for dinner (we'll have breakfast at the hotel), but it will be a good idea to bring extra for snacks and if we decide to go to a non- fast food dinner one night (tentatively Olive Garden on Saturday night)
• Things to do during down time (homework, magazines, etc) We will be sitting in the stands of the Tacoma Dome for most of the weekend (Wooo!) so bring your homework and such!
• Snacks! (My favs are Pretzel M&Ms and Chex Mix.....in case you were curious)
• We also need to coordinate some treats/signs for the wrestlers who will be competing (Mackenzie Sloan- we'll talk about this tomorrow)
• Not sure if you need something? Probably just go ahead and bring it, but feel free to contact me with any questions you have!

Friday - district bball @ Uhigh (everyone not traveling to wrestling state)
Friday & Saturday - State Wrestling

Wrestling state cheerleaders will be announced at practice Monday.
